Coco & Eve is a cottage (home-based) bakery specializing in custom cakes for your special occasions. Our kitchen is located in Chicago, in the Bridgeport neighborhood (60616). We are proud to be a woman and minority-owned small business.

Meet May May
Founder & Lead Cake Designer

She started Coco & Eve in 2010 which grew from her desire to create uniquely beautiful and delicious cakes, cupcakes, and sweets for her daughters: Coco (Chloe) & Eve (Evelynn).  Over the course of ten years, she has baked thousands of confections, from custom character macarons to custom birthday cakes and wedding cakes.  She specializes in fondant and is able to create exquisite artisan sugar accents, figurines & cakes that result in unforgettable keepsakes and showcases each recipient's unique style & taste.

May May received her formal training in the pastry arts at The French Pastry School in Chicago where she attended L’art du Gâteau and studied with Chefs and Master Cake Artists Nicholas Lodge, Mark Seaman, and Kristin Ryan, as well as Chefs and World Pastry Champions Dimitri Fayard and Joshua Jackson. 

 

ORDER PICK-UP:

Our pick-up location is near 31st & Union Ave in the Bridgeport neighborhood, 60616. The exact pick-up address will be given once your order has been confirmed with the contract and retainer.
